Author unknown, described by the church father Tertullian as written by an Asian presbyter 'out of love for Paul' and later removed from office for it; likely composed in the mid-to-late 2nd century AD. Legendary further adventures of Paul, including his famous encounter with a baptized lion, told alongside his eventual martyrdom in Rome.
