Jerusalem Talmud Moed Katan

Jerusalem Talmud Moed Katan: the Gemara of the land of Israel on Mishnah Moed Katan ("Lesser Festival"), in the order Mo'ed (Appointed Times). Work during the intermediate days of the festivals, and the customs of mourning. The Jerusalem Talmud (Talmud Yerushalmi) was compiled in Galilee, chiefly at Tiberias, about AD 400; each halakhah quotes a passage of the Mishnah (MISHNAH) and then discusses it (HALAKHAH). It is rabbinic law and teaching, not scripture. English and Hebrew/Aramaic by Heinrich W. Guggenheimer; his footnotes are not reproduced. In the English, words in parentheses and square brackets are his deletions and additions; in the Hebrew, a reading in parentheses is the manuscript's, deleted, and the one in square brackets his correction.
