Jerusalem Talmud Niddah

Jerusalem Talmud Niddah: the Gemara of the land of Israel on Mishnah Niddah ("The Menstruant"), in the order Tohorot (Purities). The impurity of menstruation and childbirth (Leviticus 12 and 15). The Jerusalem Talmud (Talmud Yerushalmi) was compiled in Galilee, chiefly at Tiberias, about AD 400; each halakhah quotes a passage of the Mishnah (MISHNAH) and then discusses it (HALAKHAH). It is rabbinic law and teaching, not scripture. English and Hebrew/Aramaic by Heinrich W. Guggenheimer; his footnotes are not reproduced. In the English, words in parentheses and square brackets are his deletions and additions; in the Hebrew, a reading in parentheses is the manuscript's, deleted, and the one in square brackets his correction.
