reviling

As the vapour and smoke of a furnace goeth before the fire; so reviling before blood.

As for a wound, it may be bound up; and after reviling there may be reconcilement: but he that betrayeth secrets is without hope.

And all the blessings destined for them I have recounted in the books. And he hath assigned them their recompense, because they have been found to be such as loved heaven more than their life in the world, and though they were trodden under foot of wicked men, and experienced abuse and reviling from them and were put to shame, yet they blessed Me.

The good inclination receiveth not glory nor dishonour from men, and it knoweth not any guile, or lie, or fighting or reviling; for the Lord dwelleth in him and lighteth up his soul, and he rejoiceth towards all men .
