Letter to Origen from Africanus, on the History of Susanna

Julius Africanus, a Christian scholar and Origen's contemporary, writes to challenge Origen's use of the story of Susanna (part of the Greek additions to Daniel) as scripture, arguing on linguistic and historical grounds that it was a later Greek composition, not a translation from a genuine Hebrew original.
