Fragments of Quadratus

The single surviving fragment of Quadratus of Athens's Apology to Hadrian (c. AD 126), preserved by Eusebius in his Church History. Quadratus was, per Eusebius, the earliest Christian apologist; his fragment appeals to eyewitnesses of Jesus's healings and resurrections from the dead who were reportedly still living into his own lifetime.
