The Roman Missal: Holy Saturday (English) 16

Antiphon. Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.
[Psalm cxvi.]
O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.
For his mercy is confirmed upon us; and the truth of the Lord remaineth for ever.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Antiph. Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.
Antiph. But in the end of the sabbath, when it began to dawn towards the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalen, and the other Mary, to see the sepulchre. Alleluia.
[Canticle of B. V. M. St Luke i. 46.]
My soul doth magnify the Lord.
And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
Because he hath regarded the humility of his handmaid: for behold from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
Because he that is mighty hath done great things to me: and holy is his name.
And his mercy is from generation unto generations to them that fear him.
He hath shewn might in his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart.
He hath put down the mighty from their seat, and hath exalted the humble.
He hath filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he hath sent empty away.
He hath received Israel his servant, being mindful of his mercy.
As he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his seed for ever.
Glory be to the Father, &c.
Ant. But in the end, &c. as above.
Our Lord be with you. And with thy spirit.
Let us pray.
Prayer. Spiritum nobis. Pour forth upon us, O Lord, the spirit of thy love; that, by thy mercy, thou mayest make those of one mind, whom thou hast fed with the paschal mysteries. Through our Lord, &c. R. Amen.
O Lord be with you. And with thy spirit.
Go, you are dismissed. Alleluia, alleluia. Thanks be to God. Alleluia, alleluia.
[Then the Mass finishes as usual.]
