The Roman Missal: Proper of Saints, July (English) 11

[July 14. St Bonaventure, Bishop, Confessor, Doctor.—Double.]
[Mass.—In medio Ecclesiæ, of Holy Doctors, page XXXII. except—]
Gradual. The mouth of the just shall meditate wisdom, and his tongue shall speak judgment.—The law of God is in his heart; and his steps shall not be supplanted. Alleluia, alleluia.—The Lord hath sworn, and he will not repent: Thou art a priest for ever according to the order of Melchisedech. Alleluia.
Offertory. My truth and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name his horn shall be exalted.
Secret. We beseech thee, O Lord, that the annual solemnity of holy Bonaventure, thy confessor and bishop, may render us acceptable to thy mercy: that, by these offices of pious expiation, while a blessed retribution attends him, he may procure for us the gifts of thy grace. Through our Lord, &c.
Communion. A faithful and wise steward, whom the Lord set over his family, to give them their measure of wheat in due season.
Postcom. Deus fidelium. O God, the rewarder of faithful souls, grant that we may obtain pardon by the prayers of blessed Bonaventure, thy confessor and bishop, whose venerable festival we celebrate. Through our Lord, &c.
