Epistle of Barnabas

Traditionally attributed to Barnabas, companion of Paul, but almost certainly not written by him; the real author is unknown, with proposed dates ranging from shortly after AD 70 to the Bar Kokhba period (c. AD 130-135). Reads Old Testament texts allegorically as pointing to Christ, sharply distancing Christian practice from Jewish ceremonial law.
