3Prayer. Deus qui beatum. O God, who didst make blessed John, who was on fire with thy love, walk amidst flames without injury, and through him didst render thy Church fruitful in a new progeny, grant, by the suffrage of his merits, that our vices may be cured by the fire of thy charity, and we may receive eternal remedies.
