My LORD’s BibleTestament of Levi 5
1AND whereas ye have heard concerning the seventy weeks, hear also concerning the priesthood. For in each jubilee there shall be a priesthood.
Καὶ ὅτι ἠκούσατε περὶ τῶν ἑβδομήκοντα ἑβδομάδων, ἀκούσατε καὶ περὶ τῆς ἱερωσύνης. Καθ᾽ ἕκαστον γὰρ ἰωβηλαῖον ἔσται ἱερωσύνη. (11660)
2And in the first jubilee, the first who is anointed to the priesthood shall be great, and shall speak to God as to a father.
Καὶ ἐν τῷ πρώτῳ ἰωβηλαίῳ ὁ χριόμενος πρῶτος εἰς ἱερωσύνην ἔσται μέγας, καὶ λαλήσει Θεῷ ὡς πατρί· (12915)
4In the second jubilee, he that is anointed shall be conceived in the sorrow of beloved ones; and his priesthood shall be honoured and shall be glorified by all.
Ἐν τῷ δευτέρῳ ἰωβηλαίῳ, ὁ χριόμενος ἐν πένθει ἀγαπητοῦ συλληφθήσεται καὶ ἔσται ἡ ἱερωσύνη αὐτοῦ τιμία, καὶ παρὰ πάντων δοξασθήσεται. (14445)
6And the fourth shall be in pain, because unrighteousness shall gather itself against him exceedingly, and all Israel shall hate each one his neighbour.
Καὶ ὁ τέταρτος ἐν ὀδύναις ἔσται· ὅτι προσθήσει ἐπ᾽ αὐτῷ ἡ ἀδικία εἰς πλῆθος. καὶ πᾶς Ἰσραὴλ μισήσουσιν ἕκαστος τὸν πλησίον αὐτοῦ. (10681)
7The fifth shall be taken hold of by darkness. Likewise also the sixth and the seventh.
Ὁ πέμπτος ἐν σκότει παραληφθήσεται. Ὡσαύτως καὶ ὁ ἕκτος καὶ ὁ ἕβδομος. (6647)
8And in the seventh shall, be such pollution as I cannot express before men, for they shall know it who do these things.
Ἐν δὲ τῷ ἑβδόμῳ ἔσται μιασμός, ὃν οὐ δύναμαι εἰπεῖν ἐνώπιον ἀνθρώπων· ὅτι αὐτοὶ γνώσονται οἱ ποιοῦντες αὐτά. (11985)
9Therefore shall they be taken captive and become a prey, and their land and their substance shall be destroyed.
Διὰ τοῦτο ἐν αἰχμαλωσίᾳ καὶ ἐν προνομῇ ἔσονται· καὶ ἡ γῆ αὐτῶν καὶ ἡ ὕπαρξις ἀφανισθήσεται. (7829)
11And in the seventh week shall become priests, who are idolaters, adulterers, lovers of money, proud, lawless, lascivious, abusers of children and beasts.
Ἐν δὲ τῷ ἑβδομηκοστῷ ἑβδόμῳ ἥξουσιν ἱερεῖς, εἰδωλολατροῦντες, μοιχοί, φιλάργυροι ὑπερήφανοι, ἄνομοι, ἀσελγεῖς, παιδοφθόροι, κτηνοφθόροι. (13181)
12And after their punishment shall have come from the Lord, the priesthood shall fail.
Καὶ μετὰ τὸ γενέσθαι τὴν ἐκδίκησιν αὐτῶν παρὰ κυρίου, ἐκλείψει ἡ ἱερωσύνη. (6814)
13Then shall the Lord raise up a new priest.
Καὶ τότε ἐγερεῖ κύριος ἱερέα καινόν, (1956)

14And to him all the words of the Lord shall be revealed; and he shall execute a righteous judgement upon the earth for a multitude of days.
ᾧ πάντες οἱ λόγοι κυρίου ἀποκαλυφθήσονται, καὶ αὐτὸς ποιήσει κρίσιν ἀληθείας ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἐν πλήθει ἡμερῶν. (8502)
17He shall shine forth as the sun on the earth, and shall remove all darkness from under heaven, and there shall be peace in all the earth.
Οὗτος ἀναλάμψει ὡς ὁ ἥλιος ἐν τῇ γῇ, καὶ ἐξαρεῖ πᾶν σκότος ἐκ τῆς ὑπ᾽ οὐρανὸν καὶ ἔσται εἰρήνη ἐν πάσῃ τῇ γῇ. (7988)
18The heavens shall exult in his days, and the earth shall be glad, and the clouds shall rejoice;
Οἱ οὐρανοὶ ἀγαλλιάσονται ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἡ γῆ χαρήσεται, καὶ αἱ νεφέλαι εὐφρανθήσονται. (7211)
19And the knowledge of the Lord shall be poured forth upon the earth, as the water of the seas;
καὶ ἡ γνῶσις κυρίου ἐκχυθήσεται ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ὡς ὕδωρ θαλασσῶν (8269)
20And the angels of the glory of the presence of the Lord shall be glad in him.
καὶ οἱ ἄγγελοι τῆς δόξης τοῦ προσώπου κυρίου εὐφρανθήσονται ἐν αὐτῷ. (7913)
21The heavens shall be opened, and from the temple of glory shall come upon him sanctification, with the Father's voice as from Abraham to Isaac.
Οἱ οὐρανοὶ ἀνοιγήσονται, καὶ ἐκ τοῦ ναοῦ τῆς δόξης ἥξει ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν ἁγίασμα μετὰ φωνῆς πατρικῆς ὡς ἀπὸ Ἀβραὰμ πρὸς Ἰσαάκ. (9597)
22And the glory of the Most High shall be uttered over him, and the spirit of understanding and sanctification shall rest upon him in the water.
Καὶ δόξα ὑψίστου ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν ῥηθήσεται, καὶ πνεῦμα συνέσεως καὶ ἁγιασμοῦ καταπαύσει ἐπ᾽ αὐτόν ἐν τῷ ὕδατι. (10810)

23For he shall give the majesty of the Lord to His sons in truth for evermore;
Αὐτὸς γὰρ δώσει τὴν μεγαλωσύνην κυρίου τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ ἐν ἀληθείᾳ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα, (9096)
24And there shall none succeed him for all generations for ever.
καὶ οὐκ ἔσται διαδοχὴ αὐτοῦ εἰς γενεὰς καὶ γενεὰς ἕως τοῦ αἰῶνος. (6585)
25And in his priesthood the Gentiles shall be multiplied in knowledge upon the earth, and enlightened through the grace of the Lord. In his priesthood shall sin come to an end, and the lawless shall cease to do evil.
Καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς ἱερωσύνης αὐτοῦ τὰ ἔθνη πληθυνθήσονται ἐν γνώσει ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, καὶ φωτισθήσονται διὰ χάριτος κυρίου. ὁ δὲ Ἰσραὴλ ἐλαττωθήσεται ἐν ἀγνωσίᾳ καὶ σκοτισθήσεται ἐν πένθει. ἐπὶ τῆς ἱερωσύνης αὐτοῦ ἐκλείψει ἡ ἁμαρτία καὶ οἱ ἄνομοι καταπαύσουσιν εἰς κακά, οἱ δὲ δίκαιοι καταπαύσουσιν ἐν αὐτῷ. 26And he shall open the gates of paradise, and shall remove the threatening sword against Adam, and he shall give to the saints to eat from the tree of life, and the spirit of holiness shall be on them.
Καίγε αὐτὸς ἀνοίξει τὰς θύρας τοῦ παραδείσου, καὶ ἀποστήσει τὴν ἀπειλοῦσαν ῥομφαίαν κατὰ τοῦ Ἀδάμ. Καὶ δώσει τοῖς ἁγίοις φαγεῖν ἐκ τοῦ ξύλου τῆς ζωῆς, καὶ πνεῦμα ἁγιωσύνης ἔσται ἐπ᾽ αὐτοῖς. (17720)
27And Beliar shall be bound by him, and he shall give power to His children to tread upon the evil spirits.
Καὶ ὁ Βελίαρ δεθήσεται ὑπ᾽ αὐτοῦ, καὶ δώσει ἐξουσίαν τοῖς τέκνοις αὐτοῦ πατεῖν ἐπὶ τὰ πονηρὰ πνεύματα. (8722)
28And the Lord shall rejoice in His children, and be well pleased in His beloved ones for ever.
Καὶ εὐφρανθήσεται κύριος ἐπὶ τοῖς τέκνοις αὐτοῦ, καὶ εὐδοκήσει ἐπὶ τοῖς ἀγαπητοῖς αὐτοῦ ἕως αἰῶνος. (10329)
29Then shall Abraham and Isaac and Jacob exult, and I will be glad, and all the saints shall clothe themselves with joy.
Τότε ἀγαλλιάσεται Ἀβραὰμ καὶ Ἰσαὰκ καὶ Ἰακώβ, κἀγὼ χαρήσομαι, καὶ πάντες οἱ ἅγιοι ἐνδύσονται δικαιοσύνην. (7147)
30And now, my children, ye have heard all; choose, therefore, for yourselves either the light or the darkness, either the law of the Lord or the works of Beliar.
Καὶ νῦν, τέκνα μου, πάντα ἠκούσατε. Ἐκλέξασθε ἑαυτοῖς ἢ τὸ φῶς ἢ τὸ σκότος, ἢ τὸν νόμον κυρίου, ἢ τὰ ἔργα τοῦ Βελίαρ. (10334)
31And his sons answered him., saying, Before the Lord we will walk according to His law.
Καὶ ἀπεκρίθησαν αὐτῷ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ λέγοντες. Ἐνώπιον κυρίου πορευσόμεθα καὶ κατὰ τὸν νόμον αὐτοῦ. (9689)
32And their father said unto them, The Lord is witness, and His angels are witnesses, and ye are witnesses, and I am witness, concerning the word of your mouth.
Καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς ὁ πατὴρ αὐτῶν. Μάρτυς ἐστὶ κύριος, καὶ μάρτυρες οἱ ἄγγελοι αὐτοῦ, καὶ μάρτυρες ὑμεῖς καὶ μάρτυς ἐγὼ περὶ τοῦ λόγου τοῦ στόματος ὑμῶν. (16669)
33And his sons said unto him: We are witnesses.
Καὶ εἶπον αὐτῷ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ. Μάρτυρες. (4634)
34And thus Levi ceased commanding his sons; and he stretched out his feet on the bed, and was gathered to his fathers, after he had lived a hundred and thirty-seven years.
Καὶ οὕτως ἐπαύσατο Λευὶ ἐντελλόμενος τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐξέτεινε τοὺς πόδας αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τῆς κλίνης καὶ προσετέθη πρὸς τοὺς πατέρας αὐτοῦ, ζήσας ἔτη ἑκατὸν τριάκοντα ἑπτά. (16986)
