1 Clement

Traditionally attributed to Clement, a bishop or leading elder of the Roman church; widely dated c. AD 95-96, making it one of the earliest Christian writings outside the New Testament. A letter from the Roman church urging the Corinthian church to end its internal strife and restore order and humility. Chapters 1-57 are in the 1870 Ante-Nicene translation; chapters 58-65, which that edition lacked, are in the 1885 revision of the same translation, so they read slightly more modern.
